With the recent introduction of Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas sailing in the New York area for 2014, it's interesting to see how they keep reinventing themselves.
So what else have they added........
-SeaPlexSM is the indoor activities area where you can enjoy bumper cars, roller skating, circus school and flying trapeze as well as a basketball court. This area should be amazing and well used. when you are rolling along in your disco gear you can also listen to music from the floating DJ booth.
-RipCord by iFly®. This skydiving simulator lets guests experience the sheer thrill and exhilaration of flying. The air machine will keep you afloat in a safe, controlled environment.
-North StarSM- step into the North Star's intimate, jewel-shaped capsule and ascend over 300 feet above sea level, where you can take in breath-taking views of the ocean, the ship, and the exciting destinations. I think this will be amazing at night seeing the stars and sea below you- very romantic I should imagine.
- Two70°SM -this one-of-a-kind grand room promises to take you on a transformative journey from day to night. During the day, the space is a modern, open area living room with magnificent 270° panoramic views — with floor to ceiling windows spanning two-and-a-half decks high. By night, Two70° transforms. light shows, and dazzling digital scenery. And an ice bar serving up your favourite cocktails-(I will be interested to see how it compares to NCL Breakaways ice bar).
-Music Hall is a live music venue , with a rebellious and edgy setting. At night, Music Hall comes alive as the heart of the ship's entertainment featuring bands, musicians, djs, theme night parties and more.
-Royal Aloft- See to believe.
It will also have all of the activates we come to enjoy and love on Royal so you can still surf if you want to or Rock climb. I wonder how many years it will take them to restart all of the next lot of upgrades to there ships, they haven't finished this round yet.
Quantum of the seas goes on sale on the 3rd June 2013 for further information or to pre register please call me on 01922 705983 or email Davina.spooner@cooptravel.co.uk
