Advoid the Airport Queues

EasyJet has offered free online check-in service for several years. Building on the success of this service, they are now moving to online check-in only. During April they plan to transition away from airport check-in and from 30 April all airport check-in desks will be replaced by Bag Drop desks. To encourage customers to check in online during the transition period. They advise It’s quick and easy, saving you time at the airport. From 30 April, all customers must check in online.

·         If you’re travelling with a cabin bag only, you can go straight to airport security and departure when you arrive at the airport

·         If you have hold luggage, you can drop it off at the airport
Remember, the boarding gate closes 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time of your flight so make sure you arrive at the airport in plenty of time.
easyJet’s online check-in allows you to complete check in and print boarding passes for all your flights before leaving home, so there’s no hassle trying to find a printer for your return flight while you’re away.

They want to make air travel easy and affordable for there customers.  Online check-in improves efficiency and reduces the time you spend in queues at the airport.

Will I still be able to check in at the airport?

easyJet is moving towards online check-in only from 30 April. Online check-in is free and you can check in and print boarding passes for your all your flights in one go. It also means you don’t have to queue to check in at the airport.

In exceptional circumstances and for a limited period after 30 April, it will still be possible to check in and print your boarding pass at the airport but this service will be phased out over time. It’s also worth noting that checking in at the airport will add unnecessary time and hassle to your journey.
