My little sister got married in Sandals St. Lucia about 10 years ago and loved it, from the Pitons, catamaran rides, coco plantation tours, and the overall beauty of the Island. Of course getting married at Sandals didn't help either.
I loved this port of call it was easy to jump off the ship and be in Castries, so you can wonder around the town and local market, however it is not the prettiest place on the Island so if you get a chance to take an excursion grab it.
My husband can recommend the zip wire, however as I do not like heights it was one to far for me. He did show me the picture of the tree canopy's so I was there in spirit.
The ship docked over looking the pitons so the views were amazing, you do get a sense that you do not have to jump off the ship to enjoy the destination, however other fellow cruises did come back and show me there catamaran rides pictures and I did go a little green and not from sea sickness.
